Not all players rely on visuals alone. PoE 2 includes features to POE currency assist players who are hard of hearing or prefer a mixed audiovisual feedback style.
Audio Cues for Item Drops and Status Effects: Unique drops or buy POE2 Currency afflictions like curses and ailments have distinct sounds associated with them, which can also be visually substituted for silent play.
Text-to-Speech and Speech-to-Text (Planned): Communication accessibility is being worked into the system for better support in multiplayer lobbies and party coordination.
Closed Captioning for Environmental Sounds: Key boss fight moments or events like earthquakes or breaches now come with optional subtitles for better context.
