This group has been created to discuss the ever growing challenge of the diminishing workforce in the construction industry. What is detering the younger generation from not entering a skilled trade position? Why don't they want a good paying career? I know of some tradesman that earn in excess of $100K per year for their skill set, wages in the industry have been higher, because of conditions, knowledge needed and physical ability. There is nothing more satisfying than to stand back at the end of the day and look at what you created, with pride of workmanship.
