Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 is heating up with its 14 Days of Summer event, and to kick things off, Epic Games has unvaulted the fan-favorite Grapple Glove. This fast-paced mobility tool lets players swing across trees and buildings like a pro—but it's only sticking around for a limited time. Day one’s summer quest challenges players to swing without touching the ground, making the Grapple Glove essential if you want those event rewards.

Where to Look for the Grapple Glove

The Grapple Glove doesn’t spawn in a set location. Instead, you’ll have to rely on luck and loot RNG. That said, some locations are better than others due to their high chest spawn rates and compact layouts:

Flooded Frogs – easy to navigate and chest-rich

Canyon Crossing – lots of buildings and verticality

Outlaw Oasis – a great mix of trees and cover

Lonewolf Lair – less crowded but with solid loot potential

These areas increase your odds of scoring a Grapple Glove fast, so you can jump right into the quest challenge.

How to Complete the Swinging Challenge

The key to finishing this quest is to maintain momentum while swinging with the Grapple Glove. You need to stay airborne, using your glove to latch onto trees or buildings in quick succession. Forested zones near Crime City, Shiny Shafts, and Outlaw Oasis offer plenty of tree cover to help you swing without touching the ground.

Prefer a more creative approach? Try the Shining Span bridge area. The underside of the bridge provides enough grapple points and safety from enemy fire, letting you complete the quest without much interference.

Also, remember: Robin’s Wingshot Grappler won’t count toward this challenge. Make sure you're using the correct item.
