Arc Raiders Trials are a series of weekly challenges that reward players with substantial rewards, improved leaderboard rankings, and rare equipment.
What are Trials and the Three-Star Mechanism?
Trials are a set of weekly updated objective challenges, usually consisting of 5 tasks. Each task has its own point target: for example, destroying specific enemies, completing specific actions, etc. Accumulating enough points will earn you a three-star reward.
It's worth noting that challenge progress must be completed in a single Raid and successfully extracted; progress does not accumulate across Raids.
Many map conditions, such as Hidden Bunker / Night Raid / Electromagnetic Storm, etc. provide point bonuses, making it easier to achieve three stars.Teammates' actions usually contribute to your progress, so teaming up is often more efficient.
Season 2 Week 4/Week 12 Trials
1. Deliver Carriables - Transportation Task
- The core objective is to transport cargo crates (often Field Crates) from a point on the map to a Field Depot.
- Prioritize familiar map routes to reduce the risk of encountering enemies or getting lost during transport.
- Carrying items makes you slower and noisier, making you more easily targeted by enemies. Teamwork is recommended, with teammates providing cover.
- Completing this task under conditions like Night Raid/Electromagnetic Storm/Hidden Bunker will provide point bonuses, allowing you to achieve three stars faster.
Collecting several crates from the northern power station area of Dam Battlegrounds and submitting them at the nearby Field Depot is both quick and safe. This is even more effective with good teamwork.
2. Damage Rocketeers - Aerial Unit Suppression
- Rocketeers are agile and dangerous flying enemies; dealing with them requires skill and appropriate equipment.
- Tips: Weave between cover while firing to avoid prolonged exposure in open areas.
- Powerful weapons crafted using ARC Raider blueprints can deal massive damage much faster.
If you eliminate 1-2 Rocketeers under specific conditions (such as Night Raid), you can quickly accumulate the points needed for three stars.
Note: Rocketeers' missiles have high explosive damage and tracking speed; exercise caution when acting alone.
3. Destroy Pops - Quick Cleanup
- Pops are short-range, explosive mechs with low defense but dangerous close-range explosions.
- Tips: Pops often appear in indoor areas of buildings, such as the indoor corridors of Stella Montis.
- Long-range sniping is the safest method, as Pops' explosive damage can quickly pose a threat.
- Using high-rate-of-fire weapons allows you to continuously eliminate multiple Pops, quickly accumulating points.
Timing is crucial; sometimes it's safer to lure other enemies away before dealing with the Pops.
4. Download Information Inside the Bunker - Hidden Bunker Operation
This is the most challenging task this week.
- Go to the Spaceport map and confirm that the Hidden Bunker status is activated.
- Find and activate the 4 antenna devices on the map marked on the map.
- After the antennas are activated, the hidden bunker entrance will open. Enter and download data from the terminal to accumulate points.
Only successful extraction will count towards the challenge progress.
The antennas are usually scattered around the edges of the map; it is recommended to divide the work with teammates.
This task has a strong PvP competitive element, arriving early and activating the antennas can avoid competing with other players.
5. Damage Hornets - Shoot Down Hornets
- Hornets are aerial reconnaissance/attack mechs; although they don't have much health, they move quickly.
- Tips: Hornets are easier to find in open areas such as Skyline/Blue Gate. Shooting their rear propellers can take them down faster.
- Carrying high-rate-of-fire weapons or scopes can improve accuracy and accumulate points faster.
During aerial combat, it is recommended to clear surrounding ground threats first to avoid being interfered with by other enemies.
Utilize map status bonuses. Maps with statuses such as Hidden Bunker, Night Raid, or Electromagnetic Storm provide double points, which is key to quickly achieving three stars.
Completing tasks in a single attempt is crucial, but progress on each challenge only counts after you successfully extract. Therefore, avoid risky actions that might lead to losing equipment or quitting midway through a mission just to chase points.
