Aion 2 has expanded its endgame PvE lineup with the Snowy Plains of Sorrow, a new sanctuary introduced in the September 9 update. The content is aimed at players with highly developed characters, starting with an item-level requirement of 5,800 and reaching 6,200 at higher difficulty levels. The central challenge is Legion Commander of Storms Deltras, whose defeat unlocks several valuable rewards. For players pursuing better Aion 2 Items, the sanctuary offers a fresh reason to improve equipment, organize strong groups, and test their abilities against one of the game's toughest encounters.
A Sanctuary Built Around Difficulty
The Snowy Plains of Sorrow is designed to reward preparation. The initial 5,800 item-level requirement already places the activity beyond ordinary progression content, while the scaling requirement provides an additional challenge for groups seeking the highest difficulty.
This approach gives players different goals depending on their current strength. Some groups may focus on simply reaching the entry requirement, while others can aim for the 6,200 threshold and compete at the upper end of the sanctuary's difficulty range. That creates a natural progression path within the same piece of content.
The Boss at the Center
Legion Commander of Storms Deltras is the primary obstacle standing between players and a successful clear. Groups entering the sanctuary need to be prepared for a difficult PvE encounter rather than expecting a routine dungeon run.
The reward pool helps justify that preparation. Successful groups can earn the Seal of Deltras along with equipment including the Rampant Energy of Terror: [True] Weapon, Liberated White Night Weapon, and Liberated White Night Gadder. These rewards give advanced players meaningful reasons to return to the sanctuary.
Hard Mode Adds Competition
The Hard difficulty takes the challenge further by introducing special recognition for the first 20 successful forces. Instead of providing identical rewards to every early clear, NC has created a ranking-based structure.
The first force to complete the Hard version earns the Golden Void pet and an exclusive title. Forces finishing second through fifth receive the Silver Void pet, while other successful forces in the first 20 receive the Bronze Void pet. This setup encourages strong teams to attempt the content early and compete for the highest positions.
Following the Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame is another addition connected to the new raid. It allows players to examine information about the top three forces that successfully complete the encounter.
For the competitive community, this feature gives successful clears greater visibility. Groups can pursue the challenge not only for equipment but also for recognition. Meanwhile, other players can use the rankings as a benchmark for understanding the level of performance required at the highest end of the content.
Preparing for the Hardest Runs
The Snowy Plains of Sorrow gives advanced Aion 2 players a clear new objective. Reaching the required item level is only one part of the preparation, since groups must also coordinate effectively and handle Deltras successfully. The different difficulty settings allow players to decide how aggressively they want to push their characters.
Players who want to accelerate their progression can consider Aion 2 Boosting for sale while preparing for higher difficulty content. Even with stronger equipment, however, the sanctuary remains a test of teamwork and execution, making group preparation just as important as individual item level.
