B cell engineering is a novel therapeutic approach with the aim to increase mature tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS). As shown in Fig.1, TLS-positive B cells could be the main components and play vital anti-tumor roles in the tumor microenvironment. The abundance, functional state, and distribution of engineered B cells are vital for the success of immunotherapy.
