A full team of reliable players is worth far more than a high-level account that never uses its flags or tokens.

If the wrong person joins during the setup period, leaving and rebuilding the group may be your only option. At that point, the sensible move is to work with the players who are active and save your frustration for after the event. You can remove the inactive person from your list once it's over, decline any new request they send, and be more selective next time.
