The Series 4 “Horizon Mascot Party” playlist adds a fun baseball-inspired activity to Forza Horizon 6. During the autumn week, the “Homerun” challenge requires players to run over 15 Shimanoyama Heat mascots. For players exploring Forza Horizon 6 Boosting or simply completing every weekly objective, this challenge is one of the easier tasks once the correct search area is identified.
The Shimanoyama Heat mascots are concentrated around Horizon Stadium. Most are inside the stadium, while additional collectibles are located near its entrances and in nearby outdoor areas. Rather than searching across the entire region, players can focus on this compact section of the map.
Find the Main Collection Area
Horizon Stadium is located on the western side of Shimanoyama, close to the coast. It is the central point for the Homerun challenge and should be your first destination.
After reaching the stadium, begin by driving through the interior. Several mascots can be found here, so you should be able to make substantial progress before searching elsewhere.
The small size of the mascots means that visibility can be an issue. Driving more slowly can help you notice them, particularly if they are positioned near other objects or along less obvious sections of the venue.
Search the Stadium Entrances
Once you have explored the interior, move outside and check the stadium entrances. These areas contain additional mascots and are essential if you need to reach the full total of 15.
Instead of randomly moving between locations, make one complete circuit around Horizon Stadium. This gives you a simple route and makes it easier to remember which sections you have already checked.
If you finish the circuit and are still short of 15, repeat the search at a slower pace. A mascot that was missed during the first pass can be surprisingly easy to find on a second look.
Make Direct Contact
The Homerun objective requires actual contact with the mascots. Driving close to one does not automatically count, so line up your vehicle carefully before making the hit.
There is no need to use excessive speed. A controlled approach gives you a better chance of hitting the collectible cleanly and avoids unnecessary turns after a missed attempt.
If the challenge counter does not increase, assume the hit did not register and look for another intact mascot rather than repeatedly driving over the same location.
Ignore Broken Mascot Remains
Players may encounter mascots that have already been hit by someone else. Instead of an intact baseball-shaped figure, the area may contain pieces left on the ground.
These remnants are not reliable targets for completing the challenge. In particular, hitting the white sphere or similar leftover pieces does not count toward the required 15.
This means that players should focus on intact Shimanoyama Heat mascots and use the challenge counter to confirm successful hits.
Finish the Autumn Objective
The best strategy is simple: travel to Horizon Stadium, clear the mascots inside, inspect every entrance, and then search the nearby surroundings. With a controlled driving route, you can complete the 15-hit requirement without spending much time away from the main playlist activities.
Once the objective is finished, you can move on to other Series 4 challenges or continue exploring Shimanoyama. Players interested in FH6 Super Wheelspins can also combine this quick collectible activity with other weekly tasks for a more efficient overall session.
