Your first task is to make your way to the breach. Travel toward Dominion's western wall, near the Siltgrasp Canyon point of interest in the Lopside region of Carcadia Burn. The ECHO system won't mark the direct path at this stage, so you'll need to Borderlands 4 Boosting rely on your map and the environment itself.
As you approach the wreckage, Zadra reaches out with a quick briefing, reinforcing the importance of the mission. After this short exchange, your ECHO waypoints return, making navigation smoother.
Inside the broken wall, look for a red console button within the wrecked ship. Activating it opens the way into Dominion. From here, the path is straightforward but heavily contested. Having enough Borderlands 4 Money can help you a lot.
Combat in the Breach
Expect to face a mix of Order troops, including Watchmen and Witnesses, as you advance. They patrol the shattered wall, scanning for intruders. Individually, they aren't difficult, but groups can overwhelm if you're careless.
You'll also need to use grapple points frequently to scale higher levels of the wall. Watch your step-pockets of purple Eridium gas seep from the ground and inflict steady damage if you linger too close. Clear enemies quickly, keep moving upward, and conserve ammo where you can.
Head Toward the Safehouse
Partway through your climb, Levaine calls in with crucial intel. She offers the use of her old Electi penthouse inside Dominion as a safehouse. This becomes your next objective and eventual mission endpoint. At this moment, you also unlock the Final Defiance fast travel point, which serves as a convenient return spot on Dominion's outer wall.
Descend from the wreckage and head east from the fast travel station to push deeper into the city. This area officially marks your first true entry into Dominion territory.
Fighting Through Dominion
On the streets, you'll encounter a more varied roster of enemies:
Watchmen and Witnesses (standard ranged attackers)
Armatures and Engines (heavier units with more armor)
Badass variants, which appear randomly
A chance of running into a crystal Kratch, adding extra challenge
The good news is that Dominion's streets provide plenty of cover thanks to collapsed structures and rubble. Keep mobile, use grenades to flush enemies from choke points, and beware of spawning Badasses who can stall your progress.
Continue north until you find a long hallway filled with non-Badass Armatures. Halfway down, look to the northwest side for a hole in the wall. Jump through it to continue toward your goal.
Optional Skirmish Outside
Exiting the hallway drops you into a courtyard teeming with Rippers and Order forces. This encounter is optional-you can sprint past straight to the safehouse, or stay and rack up extra XP.
If you do engage, be prepared for tougher reinforcements: Order Badasses, Wardens, and a Bulkhead can spawn, turning the fight into a small-scale warzone. Use verticality and grapple points for an advantage if you choose to stick around.
Claim the Safehouse
Once you enter the Electi penthouse safehouse, brace yourself for one final round of enemies. This wave is lighter, with no Badass spawns, so clearing the room shouldn't pose much difficulty.
The safehouse functions just like others you've claimed earlier in the game. You'll need to locate the datapad and then hack the terminal to secure the area.
Here's the step-by-step:
Use the grapple point near the ceiling to reach a hidden side room.
Ascend the stairs and use a second grapple point to access the upper levels of the penthouse.
Find the datapad on a table along the northeast side of the room, beside the vending machines.
Hack the console terminal on the opposite side to finalize your control of the safehouse.
Once secured, the safehouse grants you a valuable forward operating base inside Dominion-perfect for fast travel, resupply, and regrouping in upcoming missions.
Mission Completion
After securing the penthouse, speak with Zadra to debrief. She congratulates you on breaching Dominion and locking down the safehouse. With the conversation concluded, the mission officially ends.
You've now advanced the main storyline, gaining not only XP and loot but also a crucial foothold in Dominion territory. From here, the stage is set for deeper infiltration and answers surrounding Lilith's fate.
Tips Before Starting The Falling Wall
Bring corrosive weapons: Order Armatures and Engines have tough armor that melts faster under corrosive damage.
Stock up on medkits: The climb through Eridium gas zones can chip away at your health unexpectedly.
Stay mobile in open streets: Badass enemies spawn often here-constant movement and cover-hopping will keep you alive.
Secure the safehouse ASAP: The final skirmish inside is minor, but claiming the safehouse early ensures you won't have to buy Borderlands 4 Boost backtrack later. Having enough cheap Borderlands 4 Money can help you occupy quickly.
