The Diablo 4 Season 10 also alters the functionality of shields during boss fights, which also affects the way players can gain Diablo 4 gold. This supports new plays as well as experienced ones. Shields was once a great bother to many. Fights are now fairer with the changes.
There are now two types of shields that bosses use, fire and ice. In the years preceding the Season 10, the two types required the same number of hits to break. The lightning skills are now more resistant to fire shields. Ice shields are less resistant to fire. This informs players on the skills to exploit. They no longer need to make guesses.
Recharge of boss shield is also slow. Previously, the shield of a boss would restore in 5 seconds of being struck. Now, it takes 8 seconds. This allows players with more time to continue attacking. They need not hurry to tear the shield before its return. It makes fights more relaxed.
Players receive superior shield advantages. The shield will last 10 seconds longer when you consume a shield potion when fighting a boss. Before, it lasted 5 seconds. This assists during attacks by bosses that are big. You are able to stand your ground more. You need not run away so frequently.
The boss of Ice Queen has an ice shield. Her shield prior to Season 10 survived 25 hits. At this point, with fire skills cuts, that drops to 15 hits. The area of her ice spike attack is also less. Previously, the spike area was 10 feet in its width. Now, it's 7 feet. Players are able to move around more. There are fewer players who are hit by the spikes.
The old shield mechanism was discussed by many players. According to them bosses that had shields were too tough. Blizzard listened. They have done the adjustments of Season 10. Similarly, it is the players that now write about slaying shield bosses and receiving improved buy Diablo 4 gold rewards. So they say now it is fun, and not frustrating. New players are more confident to play in hard mode.
